KMC Ward Office Hours Extended for Birth Certificate Backlog
KMC has extended ward office hours to 6pm on weekdays to clear a backlog of birth certificate applications. If you have a pending application, now is the time to follow up.
New Digital Verification Requirement for NRI Document Requests
From March 2026, all NRI document requests must include a digitally verified identity document. Physical copies alone are no longer accepted at the KMC central office.
Property Mutation Fees Revised — What You Need to Know
KMC has revised property mutation fees for the 2025–26 financial year. The new fee structure applies to all applications submitted after 1 January 2026.
